Day 3 of total social distancing for us here and for the past week, I’ve compiled a long list of my favorite resources for parents and kids to keep them busy. I want to preface this blog post by saying a few things first. If all you have time for is to keep food in their bellies, you’re doing a great job momma. This is not a time for panic that your kids are not learning, it’s a time for closeness. Top resources for kids during social distancing.

My 9 year old LOVES this app. He has been able to read all the books he’s been waiting for. I don’t know why we never utilized this before now.
Those are the top 4 we are using right now, but I still want to provide a list of all the others I have found that are amazing! Keep in mind all of the resources are free for at least 30 days.
Read any books you have at home.
Home Economics 101 (bake bread, learn to make a bed, learn to tie your own shoes, you get the idea).
Go on walks. Yes, fresh air is good right now.
Watch a classic movie together.
Build with legos.
Make slime (yeah, I know lol).
Print off any free coloring pages you can get your hands on.
Plant a flower. Today we planted these little seeds I had been hoarding away for summer.
Teach your kids how to cook. Now is the best time.
Bubble bath.
Watch a Ted talk with your kids.
Go to my Summer Fun List on Pinterest. There are so many things I have planned.
I’m teaching my kids how to make Elderberry Syrup this week.
I’ll add things to the list as I find them, you know I love to research 😉 Please feel free to leave a blog post comment on something you have found helpful as well.
